Laptop Accessories
Two things that tend to be essential with any laptop include a laptop case and a laptop cooling pad. Granted I could probably go into a good bit of detail about both accessories, I've opted to just squeeze them both into one blog. Why can't they share?

I'll start with the laptop case. Whether you often take you laptop to work or not, you may still be interested in a case to hold and protect your notebook computer. It's important to find the right one for you and your needs. If you travel a lot, you probably don't want a laptop sleeve, even though they are slim and attractive. Instead, you'd want to invest in a case with proper cushioning and maybe extra pockets.
For the college student, he may be interested in a book bag laptop case so to carry a textbook with him to the library.
There are so many different types of laptop cases, if can be hard to not grab the first one you see that you like. Do a little shopping around first.
How to Choose a Laptop Case

Also, another essential accessory for notebook computers is a cooling pad. Laptops frequently overheat which can cause you to lose the project, assignment, or report, that you've been diligently working on. To prevent laptop overheating, you can purchase one of many laptop cooling pads.
It only takes one, but do a little shopping around to find the right one. Amazon has several to choose from, but you may want to check out the review of the top three laptop cooling pads before you decide on which one to purchase. (IE check out the link below)

Digital Cameras VS Film Cameras
This entry is going to be rather short.
It's more of an opinion. Do you think that the film camera is obsolete?
Is the disposable film camera going to be replaced by the digital disposable camera?
Currently, the digital disposable is on average $10 double the disposable film.
What do you think?
Should We Say Goodbye to Film Cameras?

Smart Phones

Wow, I didn't realize how long it's been since my last post. Sorry about that. I want to go over the smart phone in brief, very brief details.
In order to decide if you are the right person with the lifestyle that calls out for a smart phone, you'll want to check out Is the Smart Phone for You?
Otherwise, I'm assuming you already have a smart phone or have made your mind up about getting one. Personally, I'd love a smart phone, but I don't really have a reason for it. All I do is text, take and send pictures, and that's about it. These things I can do on a regular flip phone, like the Razor or whatever the new top phone is these days.
Smart phones have internet capability, and some have GPS pre-installed. You can update your personal calendar and keep track of your contacts.
Other than that the smart phone is just a cell phone PDA combo. You can download various softwares and games to help you fill your time and aid in research and life management.
Check out the following links for more information about where your can find software for your smart phone.

Educational Video Games
It can be hard to find the right educational games for your kids, but they are out there and they are good. The best are made so that your kids don't even realize they're learning while they're playing fun games and getting high scores on various activities.
The more popular education games include those by VTech and Leapfrog.
If you want to stay away from actual handheld vidoe games or video game consoles, you can purchase educational computer games such as JumpStart.
Check out the below link for more information about educational video games for kids.

Video Games for Kids
It can be hard to find games that are aged appropriately for kids. Games that are minimal on the violence, language, and nudity (yes, there can be nudity in video games). Nintendo Wii Video Games:
Nintendo Wii New Game Release: Fun Kids Video Games
There have been a handful of good games released for the Nintendo Wii recently. Some of these games include SEGA Bass Fishing, Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Encore Bundle, and Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None. I've never been and American Idol fan, but this fun karaoki game is harmless for kids. The Bass Fishing is pretty cool in my books. And, my favorite, is the Agatha Christie Wii game. I've always been a big Agatha Christie book fan, so when the game came out, I had to try it. It's pretty good.
Wii Video Games: Kidz Sports

Sports and kids can be a hard combo to meet. Well with this kids sports series, you've found your match. I found the ice hockey video game boring because of the simplicity of the game, but you never know you may find it enjoyable.
DS Lite Video Games:
Nintendo DS Lite Nintendogs Cheats & Tips
And, how harmless can you get with dogs. Nintendogs is a fun game for just about any age. I'm 22 and have found myself raising a puppy of my own.

HubLove Contest Winners for Day 16

Ok... So I've made my decision...
After reading the folllowing hubs for the clue 'Paris,' I found that Plaster of Paris Art Project: Magnets was a unique take on 'Paris.' The guide was informative and easy to read. The project is a great gift idea. The runner- up was Ten Women Hotter than Paris Hilton. I found the runner- up hub also a unique take on the clue word for the day. The hub was an interesting read with beautiful women to look at.
All of the hubs that I read were great reads and great hubs. I was just looking for something a little different with this one. Something out of the ordinary and not Paris, France. ;-) Although, I have nothing against the city (I'd love to visit France and Europe one day), I was just looking for a different take on the topic.
HubLove Contest
I meant to mention this with yesterday's post...
HubPages is holding a contest where the winner wins up to $5,000 worth of electronics. It's a rather good deal...
Although, I have not been readily participating in the contest, I have been keeping my eye on the hubs being published and the winner scoreboard.
Currently, the scoreboard reads:
Stacie Naczelnik - 103
Whitney05 - 90
gamergirl - 44
RLANDA - 43
Talem - 41
Patty Inglish, MS - 38
amy jane - 35
mermania27 - 34
stephhicks68 - 30
helenathegreat - 29
The clue for Friday was Paris.
I will be judging later today to pick the best of the day. I will update in a while.
